Just a friendly reminder that all invoices are due by the 10th of the following month. Now that the season is almost over please get your account paid up as soon as you can. I will be sending out statements soon for anything that is unpaid. Thanks, Nicky
Now is the time to get your fertilizer for planting of fall crops and then it is time to fill up for next spring. Prices are very competitive on all products. We offer a full line of Agro-Culture Liquid Fertilizers products. Applying a mix of these products with the planter allows the plant to develop a better root system to survive better. Stop in or call for any questions.
Message from Wes! Lots of moisture, humidity and these temperatures will mean a higher incidence of Disease in the Beets, Beans, & Corn. Remember - the fungicides we have today are mainly for prevention of disease with some cure. Early application is always the best!
The #1 corn insect pest is Corn Rootworm Larvae! Larvae control is obtained two ways; either GMO Rootworm seed or Corn Rootworm Beetle Control at tassel time to prevent egg lying. Both control options are needed! GMO Rootworm corn is not enough due to resistance issues. Spraying the beetles prior to egg lying is very economical. Tank mixing with Headline Amp for plant health and disease control is my recommendation! Call for more details.
I wanted to take a minute and remind everyone that most of all accidents are due to rushing and complacency. But there are some easy things you can do to prevent most of them even in the midst of the long days we are experiencing right now.
Stop and take a break now and again to refresh. Eating regularly and staying hydrated is a must. Keep your eyes moving all around and look for things that could go wrong so that you are prepared. Not only will it help keep you safe it will also protect your equipment. Taking a few extra minutes to rest, review, and refresh will help you to be able to continue throughout the day safely. Also keep in mind that our children use combines, grain truck, wagons, and grain bins as play equipment. Be sure to keep an eye out for them every time you are getting in and out of your equipment. |
